Its Cinco de Mayo So Have a Margari-Tea Cocktail

Today is Cinco de Mayo.  Since this becoming a larger celebration, we wanted to offer a tea cocktail recipe.  Dilmah Tea offers this Margaritea cocktail which is a unique spin on the classic Margarita. For this cocktail, use Dilmah Ginger & Honey Tea.

TOOLS: Cocktail shaker, strainer

GLASS: Coupe glass

GARNISH: With a slice of ginger and a slice of lime


• 30ml Dilmah Ginger & Honey (strong brew)

• 40ml Tequila Reposado (100% blue agave)

• 20ml Cointreau/Triple sec

• 20ml fresh lime juice

• Thin slice of ginger


• Honey-rim and pre-chill the glass

• Shake all ingredients and strain into the glass
