Dilmah Tea Recipe for Rustic Rum

Its not often that tea is used in rum drinks. But, here is a recipe from Dilmah Tea for Rustic Rum.

4 cardamom pods
4 cinnamon sticks
8 cloves
2 tbsp lemon juice
1tbsp Malibu rum
2 tbsp white wine
4 slices of lemon peel

Boil 1 liter water and brew 4 bags of Dilmah Earl Grey Tea.  Steep for 4  to 5 minutes maximum. Remove the bags.  Then, in a glass, put 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp of rum, a slice of lemon peel studded with one or 2  cloves, a cinnamon stick and a bruised cardamom pod.  If desired add a teaspoonful of honey and milk.  Have 4 long handle spoons ready for stirring if so.  Enjoy.
