With July 4th coming up, here is one of our more popular iced tea recipes. Try this Strawberry Iced Tea Punch, which is perfect for your kids. It is a great alternative to soda for the kids.
Please note: This recipe uses a lot of sugar. Use less if you are making it for your kids.
• 1 quart boiling water
• 3 teaspoons of tea (or 3 tea bags)
• Juice of 4 lemons
• Juice of 2 oranges
• 2 cups of sugar
• 1 pint of strawberries (more if preferred)
• 4 cups of sparkling water (or 4 cup of spring water)
Make tea by adding 3 teaspoons of loose tea (or 3 tea bags) to 1 quart of boiling water. Separately, combine the juice of 4 lemons, juice of 2 oranges,
2 cups of sugar and 1 pint of strawberries. Then, pour in the tea, add 4 cups of sparkling water or spring water. Chill and serve.
