This sounds great, and we will be trying it. You should really try this recipe for fudge made with rooibos tea. Make sure to use Intaba Tea for best results:
50 ml strong black Rooibos Tea (almost 17 ounces)
1 kg sugar (35 ounces)
250 ml evaporated milk (8 1/2 ounces)
115 g butter or margarine (1/4 pound)
5 ml vanilla essence (1 teaspoon)
1. Put the Rooibos, sugar, milk and butter in a saucepan and heat over a low heat and stir till all the sugar is dissolved.
2. Let it cook till it reaches a softball stage. Stir continuously to stop it from burning
3. Let it cool slightly and add the vanilla essence. Beat with a wooden spoon till the mixture gets stiff.
4. Put in baking tray and cut in squares.
