Typhoo has plans to grow aggressively this year. Typhoo Tea has a goal of growing sales by £10 Million British Pounds (or about $16 million US Dollars).
To achieve this aggressive goal, the company has a series of interesting marketing activities planned, such as sponsoring a UK Rugby Team and a power boat racing team.
Next month, the company plans to unveil a major new product (no details yet). It will also again be doing television commercials. Most interesting, Typhoo will be changing the shade of red of its boxes. It will be going back to its roots with a brighter red.
Today, Typhoo has 280 employees and is owned by India’s Apeejay Surrendra Group.
