Elephants in India are running through tea plantations and destroying much of the crop. The elephants seem to have changed their migration path and now run directly through the tea plantations. This is occurring in the Assam region of India.
Nervous about getting trampled, workers have stopped picking tea. Since elephants are protected, there is little the tea plantations can do. So the regional government has called in wildlife experts.
