Congratulations to Williamson Tea (formerly known as Williamson & Magor).

Williamson is the world’s only tea company to have all its tea farms Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance accredited.

Williamson is known for the care and education facilities provided for workers, their families and communities.  The Rainforest Alliance works with foresters, farmers and tour operators throughout the world to ensure goods and services are environmentally and socially friendly.  The Rainforest Alliance has recognized the work done by Williamson to produce high quality teas in the most environmentally friendly way possible.

Malcolm Ferris-Lay, Managing Director at Williamson Tea, commented, “We are really committed to the welfare of our workforce, their families and communities and the environment in Kenya. Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance recognition is a very tangible demonstration of that commitment. Williamson teas are produced by us from bush to cup and our customers will enjoy our teas even more knowing that they are produced in such a progressive environment.”
