Kusmi Tea was at the Emmy Awards. Well, not exactly. Kusmi Tea was part of a gift bag for the 2010 Emmy Awards.

At many events involving celebrities, gift bags are distributed. At the ET TV show Emmy Party, Kusmi Tea was part of the gift bags given out. We dont know what kind of Kusmi Tea though (our guess is Kusmi Detox – we will try to get the answer from Kusmi).

Irish Afternoon Tea is perfect for the time just after lunch and before the workday ends. Bewleys Irish Afternoon tea was our favorite. The only problem was that it used to only come in a 25 tea bag box. Now, you can the tea in an 80 tea bag box. Beautiful.

Green Tea Smoothie Recipe from Barry’s Tea

With summer in full swing and temperatures over 100 degrees here in Texas, this recipe is one of our favorites. Barrys Tea offers a recipe for Green Tea Smoothies. Please note, this recipe works best when you use Barrys Green Tea.

Ingredients (Serves 1)

1 green tea bag
⅔ cup of water
½ cup of mango, cubed
1 wedge of fresh lime juice
2 cups of crushed ice

Directions

Heat water and brew tea, then leave to cool.
Place cooled tea, mango, lime juice and crushed ice in a blender.
Blend until thick and smooth.
Adjust ice to the consistency you like best.

The fruit will naturally sweeten this smoothie but for those who want a sweeter treat, any type of sweetener can be added.
