Tea Companies Try to Protect Children

Several tea companies have joined with the Ethical Tea Partnership and Unicef to help protect children in India.  Taylors of Harrogate, Typhoo, Tetley and other tea companies are joining together.  The 3 year effort with start in the Assam region of India and begin with 350 communities.  Read more about this story at BeverageDaily.com.

Recently, Christie’s auctioned a tea caddy that was believed to be made from a mulberry tree that William Shakespeare allegedly planted himself.  The caddy was recently sold for $20,625.  The caddy was believed to be made by woodworker George Cooper in 1759.
