In the UK, home to some of the world’s most popular tea brands, sales of black teas have fallen.  Over the past year, black tea sales have decreased 5% while green tea sales have been up 10% in the same time frame.   Fruit and herbal teas are up 8% year over year.  The increased interest in fruit and herbal teas has caused major tea brands like PG Tips, Twinings and Taylors of Harrogate to introduce new teas.
